Bees & Bubbles: Meadowlark Nature Festival Tour

Bees & Bubbles: Meadowlark Nature Festival Tour

Pollinators, Farming, & Sustainable Winegrowing on the Naramata Bench

JoieFarm is joining the Meadowlark Nature Festival for the very first time — and we’d love you to be part of it.

On the afternoon of May 16th, we’re opening our gates for a 90-minute experience that goes beyond the glass. You’ll start with a guided walk through our brand-new native pollinator habitat and shelter belt — planted last fall in partnership with Red Bird Landscapes and the Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship Society. It’s a living habitat designed around the 500 species of wild bees native to BC, and the people who built it will walk you through the plants and the stories behind them.

From there, our winemaker Karl Duda will share what sustainable farming and winemaking actually looks like — timely, since we’re currently working toward our Sustainable Winegrowing BC certification.

We’ll wrap up with a tasting in the tasting room, so you leave with a full picture of how land, ecosystem, and wine connect here at JoieFarm.

Tickets are $20 per person. Space is limited — this one will fill up!
