There is a distinct, beautiful energy in the cellar this time of year. The press is humming, the cool autumn air carries the heady aroma of freshly crushed fruit, and our team is working in that familiar, rhythmic harmony that defines harvest season on the Naramata Bench.
We are officially in the home stretch! With just a few final days of fruit trickling in from our estate and grower vineyards, we are pausing to take a breath, raise a glass, and share a quick look at what this 2026 vintage has in store for you.
Every vintage tells the story of its place, its season, and the hands that tend it. First and foremost, we are grape growers—grounded in the soil, the sun, and the patient, year-round work of sustainable farming practices. Our vineyards across the sunny South Okanagan and our home on the Naramata Bench experienced classic Okanagan conditions this year: warm days that developed gorgeous fruit intensity, balanced by those signature cool fall nights that preserve natural brightness and minerality.
Farming with intention means embracing the rhythm of each season, and the fruit hitting the press this October reflects that dedication: pristine, beautifully balanced, and full of vitality.
If you’ve walked near the cellar tanks this week, you know the real magic is happening indoors. The fermentations are well underway, filling the air with their fruity, sweet aromas.
We couldn’t be more excited about the bright future of our 2026 white and rosé wines:
As we wrap up these final days of picking and processing, our hearts are full. Harvest is always hard work—sweat, long hours, and muddy boots—but it’s also where our core purpose comes alive: creating honest, thoughtful wines meant to be shared.
The 2026 vintage is shaping up to be an absolute stunner, packed with character, elegance, and pure joie de vivre. We can’t wait to bottle these wines, uncork them with you, and share moments of connection around the table very soon.
Until then, we’re heading back to the tanks to tuck these fermentations in for the winter.
Cheers from all of us on the Naramata Bench!
