For over two decades, JoieFarm has been crafting wines that capture the essence of the Okanagan Valley. We have immense pride in our rich history and are even more enthusiastic about what’s on the horizon. To celebrate both where we came from and where we’re going, we have four collections under the JoieFarm brand. These four distinct collections showcase different facets of our winemaking philosophy, each with its own personality and purpose.
The JoieFarm Collection represents the wines that established our reputation and continue to deeply define our identity today. Our journey began in 2004 with A Noble Blend, and to this day it remains at the cornerstone of everything we do.
These wines introduced the world to what we fondly call “juicidity” – that perfect balance of ripe fruit and crisp acidity that develops naturally in our cool-climate, lake-moderated desert environment. Our aromatic whites, inspired by Alsatian traditions, showcase what grows best in our unique terroir.
We’re particularly proud of our pioneering role in the “Rosé Revolution” with the introduction of our dry Rosé in 2005. When sweet pink wines were the norm, our sophisticated dry Rosé offered a versatile alternative that pairs beautifully with the diverse flavors of West Coast cuisine.
The JoieFarm Collection continues to evolve while honoring our roots – reliable, expressive wines that deliver consistent quality vintage after vintage.
Named after the French expression for spending quality time with family and friends, our En Famille Collection represents JoieFarm’s elevated tier. These wines embody both the communal spirit of wine appreciation and our commitment to creating something special for our wine club members – the heartbeat of our winery family.
The En Famille Collection features great attention to detail, often highlighting single-vineyard selections, smaller production batches, and more extensive barrel programs. The result? Wines with remarkable character, complexity, and distinctive personality.
These are wines meant to be shared and savoured – perfect for collectors, enthusiasts seeking distinctive expressions of Okanagan terroir, and anyone celebrating life’s meaningful moments en famille.
New for spring 2025, our Single Vineyard Collection represents JoieFarm’s highest expression of terroir-driven winemaking. These exceptional wines embody our philosophy that truly great wines aren’t created – they’re discovered when perfect vineyard conditions, optimal growing seasons, and thoughtful stewardship align.
The inaugural release features the 2022 Secrest Vineyard Pinot Noir from Oliver – a testament to both our 20-year history and our dedication to sustainable viticulture. Secrest Mountain’s unique microclimate, with its southwestern aspect and ideal growing conditions, creates the perfect environment for producing wines of elegance and complexity.
Available in extremely limited quantities, the Single Vineyard Collection offers wine lovers the opportunity to experience the pinnacle of JoieFarm’s portfolio – wines that reveal the true potential of the Okanagan Valley and Naramata Bench when nature and nurture come together perfectly.
Also debuting this spring, the B-Sides & Rarities Collection reveals JoieFarm’s experimental spirit. Inspired by white label vinyl records, these wines represent our creative “B-sides” – expressions that push boundaries while maintaining our commitment to quality.
Each numbered release tells a story of exploration and innovation, representing our winemaking team’s freedom to venture beyond the expected. Working with dedicated growers like the Moyen family of Medium Pace Vineyard and the Albrechts, we’re creating wines that surprise and delight.
As we like to say: these wines may not be what you’ve come to expect from JoieFarm, but they’re definitely worth discovering. The B-Sides & Rarities Collection is perfect for adventurous wine enthusiasts, collectors drawn to limited editions, and anyone curious to explore beyond the conventional.
