The fourth vintage of PTG ever produced!
RECENT TASTING NOTES: For a wine that's over a decade old, it still has a strikingly youthful scarlet complexion. The aroma is equal parts savoury and fruity, with its candy apple bouquet entwined with 'umami' notes of nori, bouquet garni, five spice, and fruit leather. The palate likewise shows somewhat 'meaty', leathery and herb-crusted flavours, albeit still with lively citrus zest and an underlying currant compote fruitiness. It speaks softly but carries a pretty big stick.
SUGGESTED PAIRING: Definitely one for that prime cut of steak, topped sautéed mushrooms all the better.
