Gamay 2012

The 2nd vintage ever produced!

RECENT TASTING NOTES: It may be the colour of blackberry jam but it's got the complexion of a polished gemstone. The aroma is generous with black plum and cherry notes, as well as hints of wild sage, leather, peppercorns and five spice. A medley of tart and dark cherries plays out on the palate with pomegranate, bittersweet cocoa, rosemary, and hints of smoke to support. An absolutely acrobatic balance between acid, fruit and tannin.

SUGGESTED PAIRING: We can't stop fantasizing about this with BBQ short ribs, slow-braised venison, or a teriyaki stir-fry.
