We took whole berry fruit from our most prized vineyards in Okanagan Falls and the Naramata Bench, fermented it with native yeast and aged 8 months in Burgundy barriques.
RECENT TASTING NOTES: A clear and beautiful white gold colour, with rich aromas of poached pears in wildflower honey. The taste rivals with toffee and browned butter notes, lemon, orchard fruit and toasted coconut. The combination of lively citrusy acidity and well integrated oak makes for one part brioche and biscuits, one part apple and pear compote - a lovely duet of flavours.
SUGGESTED PAIRING: Pack the picnic basket with a good baguette and soft cheeses. Or, for a more formal evening, serve alongside a creamy waterzooi or halibut pan fried in lemon butter.
